Shrublands is a well positioned Guest House located in the picturesque village of Wighton approximately 2.5 miles inland between the North Norfolk coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea and Little Walsingham.
Shrublands has 2 double rooms and a twin bedded room, all with en-suite shower rooms. The rooms are located on the first floor and are tastefully decorated, centrally heated and comprehensively equipped with, TV, beverage making facilities, hair dryers etc. A guest lounge is provided with t.v., d.v.d., books & games and comforting log fires on winter evenings.
There are fine views of the countryside from the guest lounge and from our front facing room and Barn Owls, Buzzards and Marsh Harriers are often spotted. Guests are currently enjoying visits from a wide variety of bird life to the feeders in the trees in rear garden which are overlooked from the rear facing bedrooms.
The local area is designated as "an area of outstanding natural beauty" and offers many places of interest that will satisfy all interests and tastes. Activities include: bird watching, walking, cycling, boating, horse riding, visiting stately homes, private collections and wildlife parks. Or, just relax on the many spacious sand dunes and beaches.
